yeah i don't get it either. i really like the movie, but it's not cool enough to where stuff associated with it. and did you know that goth kids are now emo kids? that alone makes me feel older than i really am. i was watching the new south park (a little disappointing by the way) and everyone in school was being rounded up to watch a fight. a kid pops out of a door at the goth kids and is like, "hey emo kids, cartman's gonna fight wendy!" the goth kids were like, "did he just call us emo kids???" anyways, sorry for that digression but it weirds me out that goth is no longer goth, but emo. in my day, emo bands included sunny day real estate who wouldn't be caught dead wearing long, strangely shaped hair and eyeliner. but anyways,
nightmare before christmas was a great movie. but would i wear it all over my body? no. a shirt with david bowie from the labrynth however...that i can't say i wouldn't wear.

Thank you. I didn't like that movie at all, and everyone I was in the room with loved it. That was a very frustrating post-film discussion.

Dr. Sugarman? If I knock on his door will he give me candy? Is he the Candyman? The Candyman can because he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good. Oh sorry I got carried away there. Im sure he's very frightening and he chose that name because it misleads you and your guard gets let down and when that happens he kills you by fattening you up with fatty sweets like the witch in Hansel and Gretel. But anyway there won't be any humans on the planet when it ends but hypothetically speaking if there were I would want to be placed in a spot where I could see the most awesome and spectacular destruction as it bore down on me. It would be like going out in a huge explosion of fiery annihilation the same way an evil mad man gets taken out in those hollywood blow shit up blockbusters. We all die. Why not make it by something that is at least exciting, like an apocalypse.

I'll go with you and say that I am pretty clueless as well as to what exactly I'm supposed to think about this. It's the same way I view Saw 5. I'm almost positive that that trilogy will never end. It'll be like the Jason movies when it's all done because there will be 14 of them.

I like when writers/directors/authors, etc. put new spins on things, but I don't know about this one. It's tough for me to accept the fact that demented Dr. Frankenstein's maniacal creation known as the monster could be thought of as a modern day pop culturized media twisted cliche of a hero doing what else than saving young predictable damsels in distress. Where is the originality? That just sends the wrong message about Dr. Frankenstein and discredits him as being a truly disturbed soul.

I don't know. There was a pretty heavy support for Clinton on the Democrat side. She just had the unfortunate luck of running against a guy with a ridiculously passionate following in Obama. I really don't want to get into politics, but it seems that it's more people don't want Palin running their country than a woman. Even NOW doesn't favor Palin.
