Last Spider-man Post . . . for awhile. thrown together by Dalton

This is the last time I will write about this book. I promise. The only problem is that I can’t stop reading it, and I never have enough time to read more than one issue within it. So I take that back because I have one more issue. But who knows, I may just read it without telling you and post about something new. I’m convinced that Brian Bendes is simply that good of an author.

One of the strangest parts of this issue is the prominence of the phrase “cellar door.” Has anyone else seen Donnie Darko? Is that just a weird coincidence or was there inspiration between these two series. I’m pretty sure cellar doors didn’t have any relevance in the previous spider-mans, so I’m going to conclude that for whatever reason this drew upon the film Donnie Darko. Prove me wrong, Brian!

I really have nothing else to talk about. I also recently read Gulliver’s Travels. Y’know, like the novel. If you haven’t read that before, I suggest you take a hack at it. Here’s the deal: it’s nothing like the illustrated children’s versions that you grew up with.

Otherwise, I’m going to save you time and not BS you with a shitty post. That was kind of redundant . . .

Take care.
