so, i think you've got a point there about the note-giving. i give my husband notes all the time, but rarely are they exciting. usually i'm just reminding him to do the dishes or take out the trash if it's his turn. we work opposite shifts so i pretty much never see him and notes (along w/ texts, and emails) are the only form of communication we have during the week.

i do however think it'd be cool to go back to high school note-giving/receiving. i remember telling boyfriends they were hot and that i couldn't wait to go on that date on saturday. why does that fade out as we get older? i think maybe it's the constant mass-communication provided by the internet/computers that have helped make extinct the juvenile note of the past. still, i'd give it another go!

Dear, so-and-so
want to make out? i sure do! see you tonight when i sneak out! hopefully my mom won't catch us again...
Sincerely,
high school girl
