From such a great cover, I thought I was going to be in for more of a ride. Instead I got some of the least inventive aliens ever. Really? Just by making heads into a point that creates a whole new race? Total loss of brain space.  Actually some of the most inventive/cool aliens I have seen/read about was from the My Teacher Is An Alien series.  Which actually connects with this pretty well considering both involve the destruction of earth.  Actually that story is a bit more diplomatic with some schoolkids who try to make a case for Earth, which is on a constant alien hunt..but you get the idea. Oh also Poots are amazing. Come to think of it that was probably the last novel series I even read.

What was I talking about? Oh right, strange life forms. In My Teacher Is An Alien series there is a ship commander that is actually an array of crystals and speaks by reverberations he makes through a pool of water, telling the kids they were lame to think carbon-based life forms were the “only way to grow”. That would be really interesting/strange to be true. Sentient beings evolved past regular organic masses into even more incredibly complex structures. Although this is probably not more of an evolution, but rather a fresh start deal.

Speaking of this, I have to bring up the Olympics again since I’m completely addicted to watching them being a former athlete. It brings up an important question, when will we reach a wall in which we will have to evolve in order to compete better. World records are broken all the time but there will be a limit, as some sports are currently reaching. Will the swimmers eventually need to be on the lookout for more biological traits like webbing and extra wide/long limbs? And will China actually have to start training gymnasts at the fetus level? It will be exciting to see how this pans out over the next dozen games.

I am actually going to be splitting this comic up into two parts since it does have two chapters. Chapter 10 will be done either tomorrow or on Monday depending on how I feel. So far I think this could be an interesting read, but not nearly as cool as the cover led me to believe. I need to stop doing the cover judging thing. Also, Dalton has some big news tomorrow, stay tuned.
