Well that does it, I no longer have any faith in this series whatsoever. They had so much hope, what with the Gothic setting, suicidal guy, book that gets unwritten. All the major events that would make something interesting and good. Perhaps, you know, good enough for people to want more of. As for the second issue though, it pretty much crushed my dreams like a piano in Tom & Jerry cartoons.

It’s not that it was bad. Bad is when they make you think you should have found something better to do for 15 minutes. This was awful. It made me lose hope. Seriously the villain in this latest series was dish soap for heavens sakes. That’s right, our immortal hero helps a housewife from getting out of doing dishes and starching shirts.  That couldn’t possibly be more lame, unless they decided to add a horrible fantasy into it.

You guessed it, they did. So the housewife hallucinates shes a fairy princess and is constantly getting attention from the woodland critters and other crap. Really though immortal dude? Look could you do my taxes while you are at it, they are quite a burden to me, much like dishes. In fact this guy could have been replaced with a 1950′s invention called a dishwasher and we could have finished this comic in 2 panels. Woman going to the store, woman buying dishwasher. The friggen end. But no, instead we go on the worst LSD trip ever to the rejected version of Alice’s Wonderland, no cats, no queens, and no smoking caterpillars. Maybe if I was high reading it, this could have been a lot more interesting.

But no, not even that, even if I was tripping balls and had a fetish for princesses in dish-distress, still wouldn’t have gotten interested. Good job, way to suck the life out of my soul and the marrow from my bones. Out.
