My absence was completely excuseable. This past weekend I drove interstate to build a boat completely out of cardboard and race it amongst the village people. No not the actual village people, but those in my native town. It may sound stupid, weird, illgoical, but thats exactly why I enjoy it. Also building a boat that supports 6-7 people in one night takes its toll, so I was relatively incapactiated.

Also to make up for my slackage, I have comic post coming a bit later today. I could put it up now but I need to configure my scanner or some shit. Point is, watch out.  I was actually thinking on my road trip journey on comics I would like to actually seek out and read. List incomplete but here goes:

List of Comics I would Actually Be Interested In Seeking

1. Sin City series by Frank Miller. The movie has become one of my favorites, and it only seems right I should read the comics to pick up the small details left out and just for completeness sake.
2. Hellblazer series. Another movie inspired choice (Constantine), which I strangely enjoyed by the way. Although naturally it left a void where a bunch of background info should have been, so bring that on.
3. Watchmen. I heard it was amazing. So naturally, sometime I’ll get on that.

It’s really too bad we don’t have like a comic book Oprah who tells us what issues to read. But I have struggled a lot and have been able to come up with three series. Mostly this has been decided because most of the stuff I have read so far is crap.

Also, Super Troopers is a good movie, and funny. Contrary to others belief’s.
